Registration

We're quite happy you have an interest in joining us. Here's a quick summary of registration. First, it's free. Second, it's easy. Here we go:

You can begin your registration process by clicking on Social, from anywhere in the site.

Then, you can click on "COME ON IT, IT'S FREE!" or

You can click on "Create an account". You can find this link from anywhere in the site.

Enter your name here. This is how everyone will see you.

Enter your desired user id/name here. This is the id you'll use to login or sign in to the site over to the right.

Type your email address. Be sure it's right or you'll never get the confirmation email from us.

Enter a good strong password here. It's for your security. You'll use this in the login box to the right as well.

Read the terms and conditions by clicking the words "Terms & Conditions" and check this box if you agree to them

Thie is called a "captcha" and is designed to make sure you're human and not a spam bot. Type the words you see. If you are not sure what the words are, either enter your best guess or click the reload button next to the distorted words. Visually impaired users can click the audio button to hear a set of words that can be entered instead of the visual challenge.

The next screen is the basic information sheet where you tell everyone something about yourself. What you like to do, what bike(s) do you have, etc. Remember that your profile is public by default. You can either change the security on each item now, or you can change this later once you've registered.

Click Register at the bottom of the page and finish your initial registration. You'll receive an email with an activation code. You can use the link in the email to complete the registration process by verifying your email address was correct.
